Sustainability at Xerox

Sustainability is about enabling tomorrow today by meeting the needs of the present without compromising the ability of the furure generations to meet their own needs. It takes into account environmental, social, and financial performance.

These values are reflected in the Envrionment, Health and Safety Policy we established in 1991 and are more relevant than ever today.

Xerox uses FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) stock paper on all print jobs

The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) is an international not for-profit, multi-stakeholder organisation that promotes responsible management of the world's forests. Its main tools for achieving this are standard setting, independent certification and labeling of forest products.

On your next print order, ask Xerox to use FSC paper from Xerox Supplies, or any of our other FSC-certified vendors.

Then ask us to ensure we use our FSC Chain of Custody certified processes to ensure end-to-end sustainability practices—right out the door.

By switching to Xerox 30% recycled paper, Enbridge is...

  • Saving enough energy to power eight homes
  • Using 481 less trees
  • Reducing 27 tons of greenhouse gas

The Solid Ink Advantage

Xerox solid ink uses less ink to procduce the same results. Less ink means less storage space which gives more space in the office as well as minimizes the carbon footprint from shipping supplies. In addition, when a solid ink cartridge is used up it produces less waste then traditional laser ink cartridges.
